He engaged with the Asian, Hispanic & LGBTQ chamber in group discussion to send a letter to the Governor outlining common issues while offering solutions to support AACC members. He also built successful partnerships with various organizations including the PA Legislative Black Caucus and the SBA to facilitate an informational town hall with 200+ attendees; DiverseForce and Lendistry to give businesses direct access to PPP loans; providing weekly business updates on local radio stations WURD and 103.9FM and other social media platforms all while managing

    to increase AACC membership by 29% during this period. As AACC President, he also partnered with Sen. Vincent Hughes, Rep Jordan Harris, United Bank, PIDC, Commerce Department & WPFSI to walk members through the $100MM Historically Disadvantaged Business Revitalization Grant. He also facilitated events with Congressman Evans, AG Josh Shapiro and the City Controller during this time.

    Dr. Cholet Josué is a Bahamian-born Haitian American author, physician, and neuroscientist. “Mind, brain, body, and behavior” is the cornerstone of his approach. Since each person is unique in their cultural and social background and physical makeup, wellness requires an understanding of the whole person. Dr. Josué uses both medication and other evidence-based strategies (psychotherapy, nutrition, and brain/behavioral modification tools) to help patients develop and maintain stability and emotional wellness.

    Dr. Josué received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and did his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he spent a year in pediatrics and three years in psychiatry, including women’s and veteran’s psychiatry, and received a year of special training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. He received an additional year of training in neuropsychiatry and developmental disorders at Shepherd-Pratt, under Dr. Vassilis Koliatsos. For the past twelve years, Dr. Josué has practiced medicine in the greater Washington, D.C., area, in
