  • Stranger Things Have Happened - The Inevitable Review
    Feb 3 2026

It was bound to happen sooner or later. For a long time we've put off reviews (all the good stuff is rated R or NR, let's not pretend it isn't) but seeing as Stranger Things Season Five is over and done, we might as well discuss all the nonsense that's happened in Hawkins, Indiana over the last ten years. Chase is over the moon the whole time while Blake...well, you'll hear from him.

In addition: CONFORMITY GATE! Because every conspiracy since Nixon needs to have "gate" in the title somewhere; Blake and Chase discuss said theories (in which the former does so with full abrasion). Has anyone seen Pierrot Le Fou? Anyone? Anyone?! We forget if the guy blows himself up in the end in the book.

Seeing as Stranger Things was wannabe horror without being about horror at all (as many PG-13 80s works were) the [BRIEF] topic of what medics and scientists have referred to as Total Facial Avulsion, according to the Web. Putting it bluntly, Blake floats the suggestion that the Demogorgons are probably sliding faces off like banana peels! He doesn't go into much detail--we have Chase to thank for that--but it's just a delicate warning, Horace. Listen Now!

  • What Does It Mean To Be An American?
    Dec 23 2025

In this episode, Blake & Chase discuss what it means to be an American. Is this a political podcast? No. Will we be discussing immigration? Vaguely, but no! Besides, it seems like everything from what you were doing on your phone prior to seeing this episode appear to what you ate for breakfast has some "political ramification" attached to it...people are getting stranger and stranger out there, folks.

Blake spends the next 90 minutes arguing that citizenship is the only reasonable factor for determining what makes an American an American, while Chase spends the entire episode fundamentally disagreeing with his (well documented!) argument, and expresses his views on a nation's sprit, nationalism, and debunks the notion of what it means for America to be a nation of immigrants. This is the most political we've gotten so far, so we're treading water. Listen now--preferably on the dry shore.

  • Hot Topics: The (AI) Whale Tale Heard Round The World & And The Future Of Physical Media
    Feb 18 2025

Howdy! It's 2025 and the duo is happy to be back. In this hot topics episode, Blake and Chase explain the misguided stigma around the new DeepSeek AI model...which comes from a small startup in China for free. Please, the whole Threat To National Security shtick is getting old.

Next, the two weigh in on the sustainability of video games by examining GTA VI--one of the most expensive games ever produced. Are we ready for a world where not owning your purchases is the norm? Will these bigger games pay themselves off in longevity (and file size) fifteen years down the line? Honestly? Our heroes are content with a round of Mario Kart Wii any day.

Finally, it’s Black History Month! (A time for reflection that, under completely non-suspicious circumstances, just so happens to fall in the shortest month of the year.) This time, the brothers focus on Lonnie Johnson—the inventor of the Super Soaker, the Nerf Gun, and potentially a groundbreaking solution to the energy crisis. Trust us, he’s up to some seriously incredible things.
