Greetings everyone, and Merry Christmas to all of you. We will be in Luke 2 today. What have we made Christmas about? Food? Family? Gifts? With that comes the dread that everyone faces. The amount of money spent on those gifts, the amount of time spent on food preparation, the stress that goes into traveling here and there, and then after everything is done and over with, we're all exhausted, and barely any time is left for what Christmas is supposed to be about. I'm not saying any of that is necessarily a bad thing, but if celebrating the birth of Christ has only become an afterthought, then maybe we need to do Christmas differently this year. This Christmas let's all reflect on what Christ came to accomplish, and give thanks to Him for that because He deserves to be celebrated.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20
