Deida built on Moore and Gillette’s archetypes but removed the shadow map entirely. A fragmented man given access to King and Warrior energy without shadow integration does not become a superior man. He becomes a more sophisticated fragment.

Deida studied under Adi Da Samraj (1986–1988), whose movement Adidam has been the subject of documented allegations of psychological control. This lineage shaped how spiritual authority operates in the framework.

The 20th Anniversary Edition added a preface clarifying the intended audience. Twenty years after the actual audience had already applied it.
