I have been waiting to get this woman on the mic since I heard her story.

Kirsten is one of my Self Love School graduates - class of 2024 and 2025, and I watched her transformation from the inside. Her breakthroughs, her courage, her sheer refusal to give up.

At thirty seven years old, with two young kids at home, Kirsten was diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma. Spread to her spine, her hip, her rib. No primary site. No cure. Just a team of doctors telling her they could try to make her comfortable as she lived the last months (maybe years) of her life.

What she did next is what this episode is about.

Before the diagnosis was even confirmed, Kirsten sat in a plant medicine ceremony and was shown - with absolute clarity - that she had cancer. And in the same breath, she was told: it's not your time. She held onto that message through every scan, every specialist, every moment of fear. And it changed everything.

In this episode we go deep on what it actually feels like to receive a terminal diagnosis at thirty seven. We talk about the emotional root of disease and what Kirsten believes healing really requires. We cover her journey through conventional and natural medicine, the moment she surrendered to support, moving her family to the country for palliative care, the life insurance payout she refused to see as an ending, and the life vision statement she kept writing - in the thick of all of it - because she simply kept looking forward.

When the world feels like it's unravelling, sometimes the most grounding thing you can do is look up.

This week I sit back down with my personal astrologer Luke Balcke for a conversation that is equal parts cosmic as it is confronting. Luke is one of the most gifted readers I have ever encountered and this episode is a masterclass in why astrology is so much more than your daily horoscope.

This episode goes in to wider theological & philosophical conversations, I detour into the bigger meaning behind the war whilst asking Luke what is the play - & then Luke surprised me in the last 15 minutes by giving play by play predictions to the date (give or always take a week) on the serious global issues to come.
