  • Episode 172: Et tu Cash Wheeler?
    Apr 8 2025

It was a weekend of Dynasties and everyone had a violent one! On this AEW Dynasty recap episode, co-hosts, actor and horror guru Diana Prince (Shudder's "The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs"), comedian and author Johnny Taylor ("Bummin' with the Devil" on Tubi, and horror host luchador Gringo Fantastico ("Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre" on Troma Now) bring you all the hits and misses (and there was a massive miss) for this past Sunday's PPV. There were Owen Hart Foundation Tournament matches involving Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight as well as Mercedes Moné and Julia Hart, a triple threat psycho speedball that ricocheted all over Kenny Omega, a women's title match, a Mask vs Title match for the ROH Heavyweight title between Chris Jericho and Bandito, and a main event that well... it... you'll just have to listen to our crazy takes this week to hear our thoughts!

  • Episode 171: A Swerve Towards Dynasty
    Apr 5 2025

Retired luchador Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now!) hosts the show for the first time without Johnny and Diana, but he's not completely alone, returning guest Michael Daniel (Brock Lesnar Guy) visits the pod to help out! With a quick cameo from Joe Bob Briggs to talk MJF and Diana Prince to roll her eyes at him, Fantastico and Michael give their takes on this week's fights. Also, the Owen Hart Foundation tournament brackets are unveiled with interesting match ups. Between Mox being a horrible person, Swerve on a post match manhunt, a match of meat that would make the USDA proud, and a banger main event, the go home show proves to be solid... and Fantastico and Michael are going to reel it all in for you! Sit back and enjoy the hot takes and cold drinks for this surprisingly sane episode!

In other action, Dax Harwood needs to check himself before he wrecks himself and we get an unusually booked main event between Billie Starkz and Jaime Hayter! Join us for our crazy takes, our attempts at booking the territory, and a couple of fun historical facts from Joe Bob Briggs!

  • Episode 169 (nice) - Swerve Shoots, Moxley Bleeds (Verbally)
    Mar 28 2025

Episode 169 (nice) of The AEW-some Pod is here, and much like Kenny Omega's opening squash, we're keeping it short, sweet, and slightly sarcastic. Johnny, Diana, and Gringo dive into an episode of Dynamite where MJF continues to flirt with the Hurt Syndicate (but swipes left), Kyle Fletcher makes Brody King regret leaving his house, and Swerve Strickland expertly points out that Jon Moxley has been cutting the same promo since 2019. Plus, Toni Storm's "timeless" aura apparently didn't impress Megan Bayne, and Mark Davis is reminded that momentum in AEW lasts about as long as a sneeze. Pull up a chair, grab a beverage, and join the gang—unlike Moxley's title run, this episode won't overstay its welcome.

  • Episode 168: Collision Is Axel!!!
    Mar 25 2025

Johnny Taylor ("Bummin' with the Devil" on Tubi), Diana Prince (Shudder's "The Last Drive-In") and Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now) bring you an episode of the AEW-Some Pod that could reasonably give this basketball enforced split episode of AEW Collision a run for its money! Was it the TNT Championship title match that would highlight both nights of Collision? Was it another Beast Mortos burial? No! It was the segment that didn't air between The Learning Tree, Chris Jericho and an extremely ripped little boy named Axel with a gesture and a %&$*#&! Want to know more? Fire up this episode and find out. From the trios hot takes to their super sarcasm, it's an episode you won't want to split into two!

  • Episode 167 - The Tetanus Diaries of Jon Moxley
    Mar 20 2025

The gang is all here to regurgitate their takes on this week's... interesting... episode of the AEW-Some Pod! Diana Prince (Darcy the Mail Girl; Shudder's "The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs), Johnny Taylor ("Bummin' with the Devil" on Tubi), and Gringo Fantastico (Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre on Troma Now) are here to bring you their takes on the carnage that was AEW Dynamite! Between a nasty spot involving protruding spikes and Jon Moxley's torso, a less than spectacular ending to an otherwise fun Fatal 4-Way match, and the amazingly marvelous rants of the one and only "Timeless" Toni Storm, that coincided with a hell of a confrontation between Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne, the trio is here take a "stab" at deciphering this week's Dynamite!
