Sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason behind why I click on an artist, I’m just a big weirdo. In this case, Berenice caught my eye because she reminded me of one of my favorite movies. I’m featuring her song “Wifey Material” which is a bit of a departure from what I usually bring to the show. The first time I heard it, it took me back to cruising around with my best friend when we first learned to drive. Berenice is currently based in London, but keep an eye out, I have a feeling she’ll be making her way to our side of the pond very soon.
