  • Sitting in the Corner Making Abe Vigoda Noises: A Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Episode
    May 5 2025

In this exciting movie episode, Marc and Jordan look at the 1993 Warner Animation division effort Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, done on a tight schedule by the Batman The Animated Series crew and mis-marketed to catastrophic earnings. Fans have regarded this as one of the greatest Batman stories put to film, and while on paper there may not be a lot that's Looney about it, there's still zany performances, wild ideas and visuals, amazing animation, and Abe Vigoda.

    Apr 28 2025

Join us as we take a look at three modern (at the time) cartoons that have done send-ups of the Looney Tunes! • Everybody Hates Egghead [Except for Tex]
    Apr 7 2025

Marc and Jordan take a look at three shorts featuring Egghead, a proto-Elmer character that was used primarily by the Tex Avery unit. In 'Daffy Duck and Egghead' he's used as a foil for a bigger, wackier character, in 'Count Me Out' he's given the lead role, and in 'A Day at the Zoo' he's one of many blackout gags. You be the judge of how well the character does in each scenario.

  • Tiny Toons' Spring Breaks: What A Difference 30 Years Makes
    Mar 17 2025

Just in time for the regularly designated spring break week, Marc and Jordan look at two different Spring Break specials the Tiny Toons crews did, and it acts as a sobering look at how much the concept of spring break has changed in 30 years. 1994's Tiny Toon Adventures Spring Break special is a look at an animation unit in flux, and between projects, while 2024's Tiny Toons Looniversity's 'Spring Beak' special is a look at the reboot's strengths, weaknesses and desire to fit into what's expected of modern animated shows.
