  • The Creator Of Atlanta's R&B Underground Kirbi From NBC's The Voice
    Feb 22 2026
Kirbi's music journey began in sixth grade during choir rehearsal. Her teacher overheard her singing, gave her a solo, and, so moved by her voice, urged her surprised parents to consider voice lessons. Although she initially pursued a career in physical therapy, Kirbi realized that music was her true calling. She moved to Nashville, immersing herself in the country scene through performances and writing sessions. Her biggest performance to date was at Fort Lauderdale's Riptide Festival in front of 15,000 fans where she met Jelly Roll. Inspired by her late grandmother, a devoted supporter of her music, Kirbi often includes her grandmother in her songwriting. When not performing, she finds peace and creativity at her parents' floral farm, Flower Chick Farm in Alabama, a charming homestead with flowers, animals and a greenhouse that fuels her inspiration and keeps her grounded.

  • Bakersfield CA Versus Nashville Aaron Nichols From NBC's The Voice
    Feb 8 2026
Aaron Nichols grew up in Bakersfield where his hardworking single mom juggled long hospital shifts and cleaning jobs to support him and his brothers. Music sparked early when he would secretly play his older brother's electric guitar, and by age 13 was excelling in lessons that his mom made possible. Years later, he reconnected with his childhood crush Felisha - they're now happily married with a young son, Jack, who cheers him on. Aaron moved to San Diego in 2013, playing local wedding and party bands while singing harmonies in church. The passing of his favorite singer, Chris Cornell, inspired him to explore his own voice, eventually booking gigs as a lead singer. In 2022, Aaron and Felisha made the leap to Nashville, where he now plays four to five nights a week, leads worship at church and has gained the confidence to audition for "The Voice," ready to take his music to the next stage.
