Entrepreneur, Grammy nominated artist & producer, educator, community leader, and multiple Austin music Award winner, Terrany Johnson, better known as Tee-Double, returns to the show for episode 1525! Having released over 35 albums since the late 80's, Tee's last release 2021's Local Transplant reflects on growing up in Austin and almost losing his life in 2019 when his kidneys and pancreas shut down and he was awaiting transplants. We have an incredible conversation about surviving the transplants, getting his health and energy back, early Austin hip-hop, "Hip-Hop Humpday" in the 90's, his work mentoring with Grammy U, working licensing and sync for his giant catalog of music, his brand marketing company Kinetic Global Media Group, what he's working on, and much more.
