ನಡಾ ಗ್ರಾಮ, ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕೃಷಿಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಮೋದ ಮೈಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಮೋದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಜರ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾಡಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿದರು, ಕೃಷಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹು ಬೆಳೆ ಪದ್ದತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ, ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರ ಈ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡುಗೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಂದ 15ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
