  • In the last episode we discussed the impact of deforestation on the lives of animals. For this episode, I have with us today ms. Suparna Ganguly. In 2016, she received the Nari Shakti Puraskar, the highest honour awarded to women in India. She helped found the Bengaluru-based Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) in 1991. She became the honorary president of the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (WRRC), which she co-founded in 2000. In addition to all of this impressive work, she was also appointed a member of the elephant task force in India in the year 2013.
