In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I am talking directly to those of you who have been on a weight loss journey for years, maybe decades. You might be in the middle of it, or maybe you’ve reached maintenance and realized that even with all the progress you’ve made, you still don’t feel the way you thought you would when you look in the mirror.
This conversation is about shifting your focus to the inside/out approach to health and fitness. Instead of chasing changes based on insecurity, it’s about building a mindset and belief system that drives your actions from a place of appreciation and ownership. I share my own experience living with cerebral palsy and how it forced me to reinforce this perspective every single day, no matter what physical changes came with weight loss or strength building.
You are the architect of your own life. You know what works for you, and you don’t need the fitness industry telling you that you don’t. This episode is about recognizing your responsibility, appreciating who you are, and realizing that you already have what it takes to build the life and body you want. When you embrace this belief, you stop waiting for the missing piece and start reinforcing the truth that you are already enough.
