We thought this would be a chill episode where we previewed the CFP, talked a little lower division action, some NFL and such. Then the Sherrone Moore saga exploded, so we spend the better part of the first half hour discussing his dismissal and just what the hell is going on in Ann Arbor, and what happens next.

Kyle Wittingham stepped down at Utah, which would be huge news any other week.

The Kansas City Chiefs will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014, and to throw salt in the wound Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL. We talk about what that might mean for the franchise going forward.

Alabama basketball had a dissapointing second half in their loss to #1 Arizona.

John Cena 's last match ended with him tapping out to Gunther.

You'd think we'd show some humility about backing into the College Football Playoff... but nah, we're Bama fans, that ain't our style. The SEC Championship game was ugly, but the Tide has a shot at revenge in Norman.

Notre Dame has a legit gripe, but they're also being really petulant about it, so we don't feel sorry for them. Unfortunately, this probably leads to some changes no one wants to see.

The NFL remains crazy, and the refs can go screw themselves.

Other things: Bama hoops, conference title games, a gigantic upset in FCS, please stop saying the BCS was good, is UCLA an upgrade over James Madison?

Another Iron Bowl in the wretched, cursed hellhole that is Jordan-Hare Stadium, another heart attack... and another Tide win. Fear the finger!

Also, the conference title games are set, so we yap about them. Oh, and Lane Kiffin ruined all of the goodwill he's built up by jetting Ole Miss in the ugliest way possible. Then the whole coaching carousel started spinning like a top, yet somehow Penn State still doesn't have a coach - and no, you can't have Kalen DeBoer, for better or worse he's ours, and we want him (but check back next week).

NFL is still crazy, Bama hoops rebounded well, Michigan might be the best team in the country.
