  • EP 11 - The End of the Road: A Look Back at 2025
    Jan 1 2026

Thanks for joining us one more time this year.

2025 had a way of stacking things on top of each other without much pause. The schedule stayed full, the pace didn’t really let up, and a lot of the year was spent moving forward before there was time to process any of it. Sitting down now, it feels like the right moment to look back at how much actually happened.

The year was shaped by the tours I was able to be a part of, my first time going to Australia, and stepping into drum tech work for the first time. Being in new environments and taking on more responsibility changed how I approached the road and what I took away from the year.

There’s also no way to talk about this year without acknowledging how much loss the music world took on. The deaths of Ozzy, Ace Frehley, Sam Rivers, Dave Shapiro, and so many others cast a long shadow over the year and we talk honestly about how that weight carries differently when this is your everyday environment.

We also get into the bigger industry moments that defined the year like Megadeth announcing their retirement, and what those kinds of announcements signal about where heavy music is at right now.

Alongside all of that, we talk about growth. 2025 ended up being the biggest year so far for both Take Me On Tour and The Logan Show, and we reflect on what it’s taken to get them there.

Thanks for closing out the year with us. Here’s to 2026!

  • EP 10 - The Hard Road Into Touring with Dominique D'Costa
    Nov 20 2025

For those of you who always ask how to get a touring job, this one's for you! We've finally reached double digit episode numbers so thanks to all of you who have stuck around!

In this episode, I had the chance to finally get the full story of how photographer, Dominique D'Costa, claimed her spot in the touring world. Her story is a prime example of how quickly things can change for someone from one day to the next. Dominique tells her story about how she left Trader Joe's for an opportunity to work for an opening band on an arena tour to then working for the headliner just a few months later.

I hope her story gives you some perspective and even some inspiration on how much work and patience it can take to find your opportunity to make it into the touring world.

  • EP 9 - Drum Teching Down Under: 10 Years In the Making
    Oct 27 2025

After ten years of touring, I finally made it to Australia, but it almost didn’t happen! My visa didn’t get approved until the very last day, and for a while, it looked like I might miss the tour completely. Thankfully, everything came through just in time, and I spent seven incredible days drum teching for Jake Garland of Memphis May Fire across Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The trip was packed with some unforgettable moments. I got to see the Sydney Opera House up close, spend a day on Rottnest Island, and even hang out with some exotic animals in Brisbane thanks to Wildlife HQ Zoo and Atreyu for setting that up. It was one of those trips that reminded me just how grateful I am to get to do this for a living. Short but fulfilling, and easily one of the highlights of my touring career so far.
