Powertrain and capability
- Output: 547 hp via dual electric motors (225 kW front + 188 kW rear eAxle).
- Energy system: Second‑gen Mirai fuel cell stack + three H2 tanks (6 kg) + 24.9‑kWh lithium‑ion battery.
- 4WD hardware: Front limited‑slip differential; rear electronic locker; strong regen braking.
- Silent running with only water vapor emissions.
Off‑grid power and utilities
- 15‑kW power takeoff: Dual NEMA 14‑50 outlets can run a home off‑grid or charge two EVs at once.
- Patent‑pending TRD water recovery: Captures and filters fuel‑cell byproduct water for washing/showering (not for drinking).
Chassis and overlanding setup
- Suspension: TRD billet long‑travel kit with Fox 2.5 Performance Elite shocks (Tundra‑influenced).
- Brakes: Tundra front brake upgrade.
- Tires/wheels: 35×12.5R17 off‑road tires on custom 17×8.5 wheels.
- Thermal management: TRD custom cooling adapted from Tacoma TRD Pro and Lexus RZ.
- Exterior: Overlanding camper with recycled carbon‑fiber aero panels, HD bumpers, winch, dual swingouts, recovery points/boards, DOT‑compliant lighting (lightbars, fogs, camp lights).
Development highlights
- Built by TRD engineering (CA/NC) with Toyota NA R&D using advanced CAD, 3D‑printed guides, and in‑house fabrication (including a TRD‑tailored roboformed tailgate).
- Embodies Toyota’s multi‑pathway strategy under SEMA theme “Powered by Possibility.”
