    Aug 29 2025

Apple TV+’s Stillwater, which won a Daytime Emmy in 2021 for outstanding editing and a Peabody for best child and youth programming, has returned to the platform with a fourth season, continuing to teach kids mindfulness techniques to help them gain a deeper understanding of their feelings and manage their emotions in their day-to-day lives.

Based on Jon J Muth’s Zen book series, the show weaves its lessons into a story about three children who are able to handle everyday challenges with the help of their neighbor, the wise panda Stillwater. Season four premiered on Apple TV+ on August 1.

Jun Falkenstein, executive producer, and Mallika Chopra, mindfulness consultant, tell TV Kids Weekly about the ways the new episodes tackle mindfulness and other themes and how caregivers can help kids practice these lessons off-screen.
