TRUST THE DRAFTSMAN

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

One of my favourite scriptures pertaining to faith and trust in God comes from Abraham, the patriarch of old. Here’s what the scripture says, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” (Hebrews 11:8).

Just imagine for a moment, God telling you to leave everything you’ve known and start walking in any direction, no given plan, no map, no lump sum of cash to walk with, nothing! Talk about trusting God to the extent where it’s no longer about your qualifications, your connections or your own intelligence. This is where today’s verse comes in. Never say “I have it all figured out”. God has the complete blueprint for your life, trust Him with it, He drafted it!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

From today, I commit my plans, aspirations, and desires fully to God. I shall follow His leading in everything that pertains to me and by this, failure dies by fire in Jesus’ Name!
