I am here to open the conversation about mental illness and everyday people. The topic of mental illness seems to make people very uncomfortable. Why? I guess because the minute someone hears these two words put together, they automatically think"crazy." We are far from it. Being depressed doesn't always stem from childhood trauma. But, sometimes it does. We can hide it well, most of us. We want answers that nobody seems to have, except to medicate. But what got us here? Please join me help me find some answers.
