  • Born during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, I was forced to leave Kabul with my family when I was 5 years old during the war. In Pakistan, life became complicated when my father and grandmother died. I America, life became much harder for me as I dealt with abuse, hardship, and trauma for years. As a result, I moved to China for 10 years. Eventually, I found my way to a peaceful life and returned to settle in America. Today, I am the father to a beautiful little 10 month old girl, Charlotte. As I talk about the challenges, I am also talking about how I healed my wounds along the way. This is a story of hope.

    On this episode, I am talking to you about my daughter, Charlotte's 5th book that I wrote and illustrated for her from her perspective where she has landed on Proxima Centauri B, a habitable planet through intergalactic travel. As Charlotte stands tall looking at an active volcano in Proxima Centauri B, she looks back at her wonderful childhood on Earth with her parents and recalls the moment she committed herself to becoming an astronaut. This episode is the continuation of the previous episodes: Never Give Up (Part:1 and 2).
