Today Hendo remembers a good friend, co-worker, and iconic cinematographer Larry Haynes (@fluid_vision).  

Larry was an absolute institution, a staple, and a weapon in and out of the water.  Whether he was on the back of the jetski nailing the shot for the broadcast or swimming with camera in hand capturing incredible video in the more death-defying areas of waves like Pipeline, Teahupoo, and other such waves of consequence, Larry had an uncanny ability to show the world how beautiful surfing, nature, and humanity can be through his eyes.

The 2023 Billabong Pro Pipeline is a wrap and the Surfival League gods left a massive trail of upsets along the way.  As Carissa Moore and Jack Robinson took home some hardware, Surfival League players are up in arms as such "shoo-ins" like Slate Dog, Steph Dog, Italo Sauce, and Griffindor fell to worth opponents.  With only 36% of the entire Surfival League left, Hendo is frothing at the bit as his savior Seth Moniz made it through round of 32.  However, it was players like Chad sauce, Tay Lord, and plenty of others that fell victim to the confusion of the forecast and a hamster's incorrect premonition.  At the end of the day, win or lose, it's probably best to just wash it all down with a pizaa party.  We celebrate National Pizza Day and dive into the top 5 Best Pizza Places on the World Surf League's tour!  Hop in with Hendo and get weird1
