  • Episode 152 - London Boy
    Apr 10 2026

This episode is all about Taylor's love for London and the boys that come from there, but it's also a fun highlight for Rachel as she embarks on a two-week trip across the pond! She fills is in on her travel itinerary and best believe she'll be visiting some of the iconic places mentioned in today's song. Meanwhile, Sam shares an update on Taylor Swift appearing in his dreams, and the brilliant tie-in with Of Mice and Men. We share the music we've been listening to as of late before diving in to the song of the week: London Boy! There is certainly a deal of criticism this song receives, and rightfully so, but it's ultimately so very fun. And Rachel gets an opportunity to share her travel plans and fill us in on these iconic London landmarks!

  • Episode 151 - Dress
    Mar 27 2026

Sam's been wanting to discuss this song since this podcast began! In his words, "Dress" is a groundbreaking achievement in Taylor Swift's career, and we are HERE FOR IT! But first, we have ourselves a little discussion about the Oscars and Taylor Swift's possible feature film writing and directing debut. When exactly is that film going to happen? Has it been derailed? The sibs each present nearly opposite styles of cocktails today, but each are fitting for their respective titles pulled from the lyrics of this sensual song that we both agree is simply one of Taylor's best.

  • Episode 150 - Better Than Revenge
    Mar 13 2026

It’s our 150th episode, and we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been listening and supporting us all these years. We just love getting to do this and the fun definitely keeps going in this episode.

We begin by discussing Rachel’s recent visit to see Sam in San Diego. Fish tacos, sunsets, and cocktails were enjoyed, all whilst listening and discussing Taylor Swift together. Rachel shares her recent experience listening to an Alanis Morissette cover band and how Alanis is recognized as “The Taylor Swift of her generation!” This conversation had us discussing the power of songs and artists that feature scream-singing, Taylor naturally being a part of that. We get a little sporty when discussing the possibility of Travis playing another season in the NFL and what that might look like for Taylor this fall. Our new shit brought Harry Styles back into the chat, and a first ever artist named Sam! Guess which sib chose which one to bring up.

Better Than Revenge is undeniable Taylor Swift’s most rock and roll song, which Rachel and Sam both agreed is thanks in part to the era and the music Taylor was listening to circa 2010. The lyric change in this song was a big source of conversation for the sibs! And we’d love to hear your thoughts on which version of the song is better!

  • Episode 149 - The Other Side of the Door
    Feb 27 2026

In this episode, we talk about Bad Bunny! Opalite Music Video! And….beef? Also ice cream? We don’t really know what’s happening in this song but maybe neither does Taylor. One thing’s certain, the outro to this song is TOP TIER. Enjoy!

  • Episode 148 - Vigilante Shit
    Feb 13 2026

On the weekends, we don't podcast for friends, we podcast for revenge.....or something like that!

To kick things off, we share some upcoming changes coming to our podcast. Thank you Swiggies for always supporting us no matter what!!! Then, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to congratulate Taylor on being innaugurated into the Songwriters Hall of Fame! We shared our thoughts on the songs selected and which songs we would have swapped out if we were here. We'd love to hear your guys' opinions on that too!

Vigilante Shit is an interesting song to break down. Parts of it feels like Taylor slipping into her fictional story telling, while other parts of it feel pointed and directed at a specific person. Either way, this song is sexy, alluring, and chock full of tea!

  • Episode 147 - the lakes, w/ Special Guest Chelsea Dexter!
    Feb 6 2026

We were joined this week by a loyal listener and a true Swiftie from day one: Chelsea Dexter! Chelsea shares with us her Swiftie back story and all the Taylor Swift concerts she's attended (Fearless AND Reputation AND Eras Tour? JEALOUS!!). She even gets to boast that she won Taylor Swift Trivia at her local pub! Needelss to say, Chelsea brings so much to our conversation this week about a song that she absolutely loves.

The Lake District and the poets it inspired is the perfect setting for the closing track off the folklore album. Oh but wait, it's not technically the closing track, is it? We certainly have some thoughts about that. One thing that really got us about this song was whether or not Taylor is feeling sad and melancholic, or if she was actually extending a romantic gesture towards one London Boy. Chelsea's takes on the "name dropping sleaze" Taylor sings about is particularly curious, especially when taking in consideration Taylor's performance of this song during the Long Pond Studio Sessions. There's just so much to unpack with this song and we had such a great time tackling it with Chelsea!

  • Episode 146 - New Romantics
    Jan 23 2026

This song is so good! And it's a perfect transition from last week's "A Place in this World" episode. Of course, we must discuss some Taylor tea, and Rachel has a couple books she wants to talk about. Which just brings us to sharing our new year resolution for this podcast. Anyone interested in a cocktail book? The discussion begins over why New Romantics was chosen as a deluxe track instead of being placed on the standard version. But is it really that deep?

  • Episode 145 - A Place in this World
    Jan 16 2026

We’re back with season 4!!! And the episode starts with probably the longest chitty chat ever. There was loads to talk about with our obsession over the Stranger Things finale and all our “predicky-dicks” for Taylor Swift’s 2026. Maybe she’ll release a single? Perhaps be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame? Is the wedding imminent?! Reputation Vault Tracks? Our eyes and ears are always tuned in but we can’t help but feel at ease during a quiet time in the Swiftie world such as this. The song this week showcases the most baby Taylor and the innocence she felt at the young age of 13 when she wrote this song. Rachel is partaking in Dry January, and Sam didn’t feel comfortable making an alcoholic drink for this adolescent song. So mocktails it is! But why did Taylor choose this song to perform on her very last night of the Eras Tour? Tune in to find out!
