  • Unafraid to Capture Creativity with Diane Bentley Raymond
    May 23 2025

Creativity through the lens of a storyteller and photographer

"Creativity, it's always about something you feel."

Diane Bentley Raymond is a curious soul who calls San Francisco California home. She is an aerial, architectural and travel photographer that is passionate about her work and loves telling stories through her lens. As a distinguished marketing consultant for 30 years, Diane was often directing and collaborating with photographers on her client’s projects. Diane says that late in life she had a “lightbulb moment” and realized that she wanted to be the one behind the camera. Jumping headfirst into her photography passion Diane photographed everything and anything to truly learn her craft before coming to the realization that city architecture was what she loved most. “There is something magical about the early morning light and reflections on skyscrapers at sunrise, most mornings you can find me chasing that light around the city”. She has traveled the world capturing amazing cities but continues her love affair with San Francisco.

  • Creative Awe with Bob Martin
    May 20 2025

Creativity through the lens of an author and meditation mentor

"Comparing and connecting random pieces of data."

Bob Martin’s story is as riveting as the narratives he crafts. Once a criminal trial lawyer deeply entrenched in Miami’s notorious legal battles, Bob began his writing career drafting legal briefs and essays. In the wake of 9/11, disillusioned by the violence carried out in the name of religion, he conceived the idea of divine messages guiding humanity—a concept that evolved into his first book, Children of Abraham.

Navigating an unfamiliar publishing landscape, Bob encountered every consultant and pitch imaginable. After a year of fruitless efforts to secure an agent or publisher, he boldly chose the self-publishing route—printing and selling thousands of copies directly from his garage. His hands-on experience with grassroots publicity laid the groundwork for his next literary endeavor. With I Am The Way, Bob’s work captured the attention of Innovative Ink, a traditional publisher now poised to re-release Children of Abraham in April.

Bob’s dual life as a lawyer and an author uniquely positions him to speak on both the creative process and the realities of modern publishing. His journey—from legal briefs to literary acclaim—offers invaluable insights into the challenges and triumphs of bringing meaningful work to market.

  • Discovering Creativity with Mike Poggoilo
    May 16 2025

Creativity through the lens of a photographer and psychologist

"Creativity for me now, with photography is trying to capture and appreciate beauty."

Mike Poggioli came to see photography as a serious creative outlet when he moved to Chicago in 2015 and became enamored by the beauty of the city’s architecture. He was particularly drawn to the L trains, experiencing every ride through The Loop, Chicago’s downtown center, as a complimentary architecture tour. Mike then took his newfound love for cityscapes with him to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he studied clinical psychology. It wasn’t until he began a clinical internship in Asheville, North Carolina, when he ventured into landscape photography. While there, Mike quickly discovered a passion for capturing the layers of Blue Ridge Mountains. He is currently based out of Asheville, NC. Mike likes to experiment with color, giving his photos pops of orange and dark blue, and is always looking for new ways to play with leading lines, harsh light and shadows, and depth in his compositions.
