    Jan 4 2026

What does it really mean to win? If you love track and field, you have heard of my next guest...

In this powerful episode of Sunday SoulDay in our season 4 opener, I sit down with Olympic gold medalist, author, and elite performance coach Marion Jones for an honest, grounded conversation about discipline, resilience, accountability, and rising after setbacks.

Marion made history as the first woman to win five medals at a single Olympic Games—and she also walked through one of the most public reckonings in sports history. Today, she’s redefining success through discipline, consistency, and aligned performance across fitness, business, and life.

    In this episode, we explore:

🌱 How Marion’s definition of winning has evolved over time

🌱 Why discipline matters more than motivation in every area of life

🌱 The inseparable connection between mind, body, and daily habits

🌱 What inspired the launch of MJEP (Marion Jones Elite Performance)

🌱 How to stay consistent when motivation fades

🌱 The intention behind her new MJEP merch line

🌱 What it really takes to rise after personal or professional setbacks

🌱 How Marion stays spiritually and emotionally fueled as a mother, entrepreneur, and elite performance coach.

This conversation is for anyone navigating pressure, rebuilding after failure, or seeking sustainable performance rooted in truth—not image.

If you’re ready to redefine success, build real discipline, and rise with integrity and purpose, this episode is for you. Tune in this Sunday afternoon for this incredible conversation with someone I have admired for years, Marion Jones!

    About Marion

Marion is widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time. She made history as the first woman to win five medals at a single Olympic Games, earning three gold and two bronze medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics. A standout at the University of North Carolina, she helped lead the Tar Heels to an NCAA Championship and became a global icon, appearing on the covers of Time, Vogue, and Sports Illustrated, with partnerships from brands like Nike, Gatorade, and Got Milk.

In 2007, she faced one of the most defining chapters of her life—taking full responsibility, returning her medals, and serving a prison sentence. What followed was not retreat, but transformation. Just four months after giving birth to her third child, Marion returned to professional sports in the WNBA and began a new chapter rooted in discipline, truth, and growth.

Today, Marion is a speaker, entrepreneur, elite performance coach, and founder of MJEP—Marion Jones Elite Performance. Through her app, training programs, and merchandise, she helps people build consistency, resilience, and strength—physically and mentally. Above all, she’s a devoted mother and a living example of what it means to rise after a fall and redefine what winning truly means.
