Loneliness, grief, chronic illness, diminishing roles, and the feeling of no longer being needed—all of these can weigh heavily on the soul.
The figures are alarming: over 40% of all suicides in Germany involve people over the age of 65. Men are particularly at risk. And yet this topic is often hushed up in our society.

But that is precisely why it is so important to talk about it.
Because life does not lose its value just because we get older.
