Serving works the same way. While serving others can feel good, its deeper purpose is to form humility in us. And Scripture teaches that when we humble ourselves, God meets us with grace.

As we learn to study God’s word and serve the people around us, we begin to experience the life Jesus promised. Not just getting by, but truly living.
