In this final episode of the Student Counselor Podcast, I take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that began when I first started the podcast at the beginning of my Master’s program. From the highs of learning, growing, and connecting with so many of you, to the emotional rollercoaster of my graduation and beyond, this episode is a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have tuned in, supported me, shared your stories, and helped build this vibrant community of students and emerging professionals. This podcast has been more than just a show for me—it’s been a space for me to learn, grow, and connect with others who share a passion for mental health and helping people succeed.

As I announce the end of this chapter, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. While the podcast is concluding, my journey doesn’t stop here. I’ll be launching a new consulting and private practice business in 2025, focused on supporting mental health students and emerging professionals. This community isn’t going anywhere; we’re just evolving into something new! I encourage you all to look me up on instagram for updates on my next chapter and the exciting work ahead.

In this episode, Part 2 of “Chasing Dreams: What Does it Take to Pursue a Psychology/Therapy Degree?”, I reflect on how my psychology/therapy degree has shaped me, particularly focusing on the resilience it has helped me develop. We revisit themes from Episode 40, such as self-awareness and vulnerability, and dive deeper into the emotional and mental challenges I’ve faced throughout my educational journey.

I discuss the importance of self-care, the demands of internships, and the resilience required to juggle work, school, and personal life. This episode highlights how perseverance and mental strength play a crucial role in surviving and thriving as a counseling student, and offers insights into navigating the highs and lows of this path.

In this episode, I reflect on graduating with my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From nearly not graduating high school to having a master’s degree, it’s surreal!
