What comes to mind when you think of the word “salty?” Maybe it’s the “throwing shade” kind of salty, or maybe it’s simply a spice you crave on your favorite food. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor?” Join me as I discover how people’s stories of faith add a unique flavor to their lives. • How to Stay Consistent and Grow Your Faith in College with Paige Beville
    Jun 13 2025

Hey y'all!! I'm so happy to say that I am finally back on the podcast!! It's been a very long, and also very unexpected, break from all things Stay Salty. If you haven't caught up on everything that has been going on and why I took the break, feel free to catch the update here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DICfZPfyKC1/?hl=en&img_index=1

That being said, I am so excited to finally post this episode that was meant to be published back in January. Moving forward, I may not be posting every single month as I am also now a senior in college, but I still intend to pour my heart into this project, and I'm not planning on quitting anytime soon.

Now on to the episode! I had the absolute pleasure of talking with one of my good friends Paige Beville. She is a recent graduate from the University of Alabama majoring in Music Therapy. Her story of figuring out life as a Christian college student is so special and impactful!

The major topics we cover include:

    - Wanting "the college experience" vs finding yourself through faith in God

    - Being a leader vs. being a follower

    - Defining discipleship and how we can make disciples as college students

    - Paige's call to ministry and how to stay in tune with your spiritual calling

    - How to use your testimony, even the "uninteresting" ones, for God's glory

    - And so much more!

A couple of things to keep in mind as you're listening:

    - This episode was recorded in July 2024. Now that it is June 2025, consider how some timeline things and original podcast plans may be a lot different!

    - I just have to mention that Paige and her *boyfriend at the time* Preston are now ENGAGED!! I am so happy for them and can't wait to see how God uses their marriage. If you have a second, go congratulate them!

    - You don't have to be a college student to relate to a lot of these topics! They can also apply to any stage in life!
