We dive into the middle of the final season of the Clone Wars, where Ahsoka does… some things!

The final season is upon us! Clone Wars Conversations’ continues with episodes 5-8 of Season 7, making up “Ahsoka’s Walkabout” arc, taking a very different direction to the prior 4 episodes, where battling on the front lines is swapped out for family politics on Level 1313 of Coruscant!

In detail, our trio talk about the somewhat infamous lull of Season 7, centring around Ahsoka meeting the Martez sisters. Amidst their run-through of the four episodes, they talk about the narrative choices, the Pykes, Ahsoka’s journey & growth and whether or not this is essential viewing for her character and the season 7 finale. Along the way, Mike provides extra content & lore dumps and how these episodes compare to the previous 6 seasons.

We dive into Asajj Ventress’ unreleased Clone Wars arc; Dark Disciple by Christie Golden!

Clone Wars Conversations’ final Legacy Multimedia Project episode is about the novel that concludes Asajj Ventress’ time in The Clone Wars era, featuring Quinlan Vos, Obi-Wan, Dooku and more.

In detail, our trio talk about their experiences with the audiobook of Dark Disciple (narrated by Marc Thompson), how the story fits into the Clone Wars content they’ve already consumed and how it changes their perception of Ventress as a character. Along the way, Mike provides plenty of lore information, further context and answers questions that Dave & Maff have. Nearer the end they confirm the next steps for Ventress and their hopes for Quinlan Vos in the future.

Dark Disciple by Christie Golden was released in July 2015 and was made from Clone Wars scripts written by Katie Lucas, meant for the original 7th/8th seasons of The Clone Wars.
