  • (Ep 1) Gratitude: ”Monkey Thanks His Tree” and ”Monkey Picks a Pumpkin”
    Nov 1 2019

“The vibration of gratitude attracts more positive things into your life.”

"Monkey Thanks His Tree"- Monkey practiced his Inner Star Power of Gratitude when his favorite tree disappeared! He realized that he wanted his tree to know how much he loved and appreciated it. As Monkey told his tree how much he appreciated it, it suddenly re-appeared and it was even more beautiful than before!

"Monkey Picks A Pumpkin"- Monkey practiced his Inner Star Power of Gratitude when he was having a hard day. Everything was bothering him and he couldn’t stop complaining. His Inner Star Power of Gratitude helped Monkey turn his day around!

Learning the skill of gratitude can help our children experience more positive emotions as well as decreasing stress levels.

The Star Power Challenge is for your child to make a gratitude tree. This tree can help your child practice their Inner Star Power of Gratitude. Each day, help your child write one thing that they are thankful for on a paper leaf (you can write something to!). Place your leaves on the tree. If you do this every day, your gratitude tree will be full and beautiful before you know it!

Take some time to reflect on how expressing gratitude makes you and your child feel.

  • (Ep 2) Gratitude: ”Monkey Has A Party!”
    Nov 1 2019

“It is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful.” Brother David Steindl-Rast

"Monkey Has A party!"- Monkey found his Inner Star Power of Gratitude when the gifts from his birthday party started to disappear. His Inner Star Power of Gratitude reminded him that everything is more special when we stop and show gratitude for the gifts we are given.

Learning the skill of gratitude can help our children experience more positive emotions as well as decreasing stress levels.

The Star Power Challenge is for your child to make a thank you note. This thank you note can be given to a special person else to say thank you for a gift, a service, or a kind act. Alternatively, your child can keep the note to remind themselves how lucky they are to have this gift in their life.

Take some time to reflect on how expressing gratitude makes you and your child feel.

  • (Ep 3) Creativity: ”Lion Hears a Rainbow” and ”Lion Makes A Costume”
    Nov 1 2019

“Creativity is seeing the same thing, but thinking differently.” Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

"Lion Hears a Rainbow"- Lion practiced his Inner Star Power of Creativity when his friend dog realized that he could listen to sounds and imagine what color they might be. Lion found this very difficult to do, but he thought about the problem and he came up with a creative way to help him see a rainbow too!

"Lion Makes a Costume"- Lion found his Inner Star Power of Creativity when he was feeling sad because he didn’t have a costume for his friend’s costume party. Difficult situations give our children an opportunity to find creative solutions.

Creativity can help children to think outside the box, solve difficult problems, and discover the light of their soul within!

The Star Power Challenge is for your child to make their own costume for Monkey's Costume Party! Encourage your child to think creatively, using paper, glue, tape, stuffed animals, and other things around your house to create their own costume.

Take some time to reflect on how practicing creativity makes you and your child feel.
