SB Cubs defeated Lake County 10-3 @ Four Winds Field in the final game of this series. Felix Stevens got a RBI Double in the first inning. Then in the fourth inning, Jordan Nwogu homered bringing the total runs to 4. Brian Kalmer homered in the bottom of the fifth inning, bringing the total runs to 6. In the seventh inning, Jordan Nwogu got a sac fly, making the runs a total of 7. Dillan Granadillo doubled bringing the runs to 9. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Felix Stevens got a RBI Single bringing the total runs to 10. Next series will be @ Wisconsin on Tuesday night. First pitch is at 7:40 PM.

The South Bend Cubs win the first game of the 2nd Half that starts today in Midwest League action. The SB Cubs defeated Lake County Captains by the score 4 to 3. In 8th inning the Captains tried to pick off SB Cub's Jefferson Rojas at first base, throw went into outfield and Rojas was able advanced all way to 3rd base. Jonathon Long stepped up to the plate and hit sacrifice fly to center fielder, Jefferson Rojas scores the go head and eventually winning run.
