  • New Thoughts, New You | Sunday Message
    Dec 9 2025

A powerful exploration of how New Thought principles can transform your life—beginning with one new idea.

In this week’s message, Rev. Martin Preston invites us into a deeper understanding of New Thought and how the Science of Mind teaching empowers us to transform our lives from the inside out. Through history, principle, and practical application, Rev. Martin shows how a single new thought can open the door to an entirely new experience of life.

Drawing from Ernest Holmes’ What We Believe, this message explores the unity of all life, the creative nature of consciousness, the immortality of the soul, and the spiritual laws that shape our experience. It’s a rich and encouraging reminder that your beliefs can free you or limit you—and choosing a new thought is the first step toward becoming a new you.

  • Good Vibrations: The Vibration of Gratitude | Sunday Message at the Greater Orlando Center for Spiritual Living
    Dec 1 2025

Rev. Patrice’s first Sunday message as a Divine Science minister explores how gratitude, love, and spiritual practice lift our vibration and align us with the ever-present good of God.

In this week’s Sunday message from the Greater Orlando Center for Spiritual Living, we begin by entering the silence together and remembering a powerful truth: the universe is a limitless, intelligent energy system expressing as each one of us. From that centered place, we explore how this creative energy shows up in every cell of our bodies, in the unfolding of our lives, and in the evolution of our spiritual path.

Guest speaker Rev. Patrice offers her first message as a newly ordained Divine Science minister, weaving together gratitude, vibration, and spiritual practice. Drawing on the teachings of Ernest Holmes, Divine Science, and Dr. David Hawkins’ Power vs. Force, she explains how our thoughts and feelings carry measurable vibrational frequencies—and how gratitude, love, and joy lift not only our own lives, but the consciousness of the planet.

Through personal stories of illness, healing, and deep listening, Rev. Patrice invites us to see every experience—even the difficult ones—as an opportunity to return to our true nature as expressions of God. She shares practical ways to raise our vibration: meditation, heart-centered awareness, choosing loving thoughts, and living in gratitude as a daily practice.

The message closes in prayer, anchoring us in the knowing that we are whole, perfect, and complete, and that gratitude is the portal through which we experience the ever-present good of God.

  • Go with the Flow: The Spiritual Path of Happiness
    Dec 1 2025

A practical and uplifting look at positive psychology, the science of “flow,” and how spiritual principles help us ride life’s rapids with faith, flexibility, and joy.

In this Sunday message, Rev. Martin explores how the science of happiness and the spiritual path are telling us the same thing: our deepest well-being doesn’t come from money, status, or even perfect circumstances—it comes from character, spiritual practice, and learning to live in the flow of God.

Drawing on the research of positive psychology, Dr. Martin Seligman, and the work of Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi on “flow,” we learn why things like love, courage, integrity, loyalty, kindness, and fairness matter far more to our happiness than wealth or achievement—and how these mirror what Scripture calls the “gifts of the Spirit.”

Rev. Martin then connects this science to timeless spiritual wisdom: Ernest Holmes’ teaching on circulation and stagnation, Lao Tzu’s reminder to “flow as life flows,” and Jesus’ call to “resist not evil.” Through stories of clowns learning how to fall, white-water canoeing in the Ozarks, and practical everyday disruptions (like an overflowing toilet on your peaceful morning!), we’re invited to stop fighting what we can’t control and instead learn how to ride the waves with faith and flexibility.

    You’ll be encouraged to:

    • Shift focus from “fixing what’s wrong” to cultivating what’s right in you.

    • Embrace flow as a spiritual experience of presence, timelessness, and connection.

    • Remember that every “fact” is fluid—and your response is your greatest power.

    • Set the “sails of your soul” by asking not “Can I?” but “How can I?” and trusting Spirit to guide your course.

No matter how calm or choppy the waters of your life may be right now, this message reminds you: you can keep rowing, keep trusting, and keep knowing that your blessings are growing. And so it is.
