Hi, my name is Logan. I'm a lay preacher and teacher at Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, Ohio. This podcast will be a place to come for a deep bible study, typically going verse by verse, with our greatest priority being to answer the question - what does this passage mean? It is only when we know accurately what a passage actually means in context, that we can ever hope to extract any doctrine, emotion, application or anything useful out of it! My goal is to let the Bible speak for itself (I have absolutely nothing valuable to add to it) I teach a weekly bible study at my church (going through the Gospel of John as of May 2022) and so for the most part you'll be hearing me go through the same study I go through at church, but re-recorded for podcast form. In addition to this I intend to post some topical studies, and systematic theological studies, as well as audio of me preaching on occasion.
