We are born in sin, few days, and full of trouble. Without the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ there is no remission of sins. The sinful nature of man is in rebellion to God. We tend to live the life we desire and therefore choose what we please without any concern for God's will. We are in need of a Savior and Jesus fills that need. When Rahab the harlot realized that God was visiting her that day as she hid the two men she was quick to agree with Gods plan. She made an outward confession of God and of her need not only for her but her family also. The scarlet thread she would bind out her window represented the blood of Jesus that was a sign to protect all that abides in the house. The thread was like unto the pitch (that sealed the ark to keep the water out) and the house was like unto the ark for it was safety. Any one that stayed in would be saved anyone that went out would not. We must quickly come to a place where we acknowledge our sin and God's sacrifice. We pray that you accept his sacrifice as the remission of your sins and believe on him and he will cover you with his blood and wash you white as snow. Then he will come and abide in you. May The Holy Spirit awaken your heart and draw you to the one whom made you for his purpose and his glory.

Uncertainty is almost certain in this life. We will face adversity at times and at other times we will find rest. When we feel overwhelmed by life we can rise up in faith and cast fear out. It seems though at times we say we respond in faith and in truth we respond in fear. In these times it is not through faith but rather fear that we rise. However misguided we may be, we are trying to overcome our situation. A house that's divided cannot stand. We find Faith by hearing and acting on the word of God. In our study of the word we come to realize that Faith is an ability to believe in God's truth. The Bible says that Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. The Bible also tells us the just walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is founded in Love and perfect Love casts out fear. We pray today that you walk in the abundance of your faith.

We should check our surroundings and our situations often. What we keep near us or gravitate towards will tell us a lot about ourselves. We often start out with good intentions but unfortunately we do not often end with them. We find ourselves changing based on the environment we are in. This is why we should take inventory of our lives. We should examine ourselves in order to make an honest assessment. We tend to avoid examinations because we are often not prepared for the results. Most times we would rather see how things work out than to determine the best course of action. We should examine our lives and assure that we are working toward an eternity with Christ. Salvation is free. It is as simple as believing in Christ and confessing and repenting of your sins. Obedience to Christ will cost you everything. It is a lifelong process that requires constant pruning, growth, and examination. Let us examine ourselves that we may lay down every weight that so easily besets us, and pick up the cross that we may continue in Christ unto his coming. May the Lord teach and keep you, and may your heart be filled with his goodness as you seek the old path and walk therein.

In life there are many ways to do certain things. Some right some wrong. There are better ways and worse ways. We go through this life and often it seems like the easy path is the best. We often cut corners and later regret it. We soon realize it is best if we approach everything with an earnest heart to do the best we can and not take the path of least resistance. We began to understand that our best is required in all that we do if we are to expect the best results. Unlike the things in this world, Heaven is not obtainable in many ways. there are no better or worse ways to obtain our heavenly home. Jesus tells us "I am the way the truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father except by me". He is the only way. There is only way to the Father and His name is Jesus. While many have come through the doors of religion they have fallen short of the Door of Heaven (Jesus (John 10:1)) by not fully accepting and following Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They are striving to earn Heaven by their merit and their works. Please consider your path and ask an honest question and give an honest answer. Are you seeking to simply do better (religion) or are you seeking the one who paid the price for your sins (relationship). Without a right relationship with Jesus your efforts are in vain.

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of love for humanity as well as all creation. The giving of his life at calvary for us while we were yet sinners is perfect in every way. He knew we were bound in sin with no way out, our nature would never change unless we could be filled with the Holy Spirit. so he gave his life to save ours. It is through the acceptance of his sacrifice, that we can be filled with the Holy Spirit. When we confess our sin and accept Jesus as our sacrifice, Lord, and Savior, we are born again. a new creature that is filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads us and guides us into all truths. If we have truly repented and accepted him as Lord and Savior our lives will be changed. We will desire to pease him in all that we do and say.

Decisions are very important. Our lives are filled with them. Where to live, where to work, what car or house to buy, and many more. We must decide daily and it seems this life requires never ending decisions. This life on earth is temporary, therefore you would think we would focus more on the eternal decisions, but that's too often not the case. We tend to focus on the things of this world and forget about our eternity. Eternity is just that eternal. We will either spend it in Heaven with God or hell with satan. When we fail to make a decision to follow Christ we have already chosen hell. God has a purpose and a plan for our life and it's not his will that any should perish. That's why Jesus Gave his life and paid the price for sin with his death. May I encourage you today to make a decision to destiny by choosing Christ as your Savior.

Spirit Filled Chapel Presents -Seal Up The Gaps- by Tom Radin When we are safe and secure in our home we know that we are protected. However when we can feel the wind from the outside we know something isn't right. Sometimes things that were properly sealed are no longer sealed. We need to examine our home to determine where the outside is getting in. We often find ourselves dealing with this in our spiritual walk with God. When we are aware that the outside is getting in we must take action and search for the cause. When we find the area of our life that isn't sealed properly we need to correct it. With the help of God and our willingness to correct and fix those things we can keep the outside (world) from getting in.
