  • Five Minute Bible Study: Peace
    Mar 25 2026

    Peace:

    What Is Biblical Peace?

Biblical peace isn’t just the absence of conflict—it’s a deep sense of wholeness, rest, and trust in God.

    • John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives…”

    👉 God’s peace is:

    • Internal, not external
    • Steady, not temporary
    • Rooted in Him, not circumstances

God Is the Source of Peace:

    • Philippians 4:7 “The peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
    • Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast…”

👉 Peace comes from connection with God, not control of life.

    Jesus Is Our Peace:

    • Ephesians 2:14 “For He Himself is our peace…”

👉 Peace isn’t just something Jesus gives—it’s who He is.

Peace in the Middle of Storms:

    • Mark 4:39 Jesus calms the storm: “Peace! Be still!”

👉 The storm didn’t define the moment—Jesus did.

    • John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

👉 Peace doesn’t mean no problems—it means God is greater than them.

    How to Receive God’s Peace:

    1. Pray About Everything

    • Philippians 4:6–7 “Do not be anxious about anything…”

    2. Trust God Fully

    • Proverbs 3:5–6

    3. Focus Your Mind on Truth

    • Philippians 4:8

👉 Peace grows where trust and truth live.

    Peace vs. Anxiety:

    • Matthew 6:25–27 Jesus teaches not to worry about life

👉 Anxiety says: “What if everything goes wrong?” Peace says: “God is in control.”

    Living as a Peacemaker:

    • Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers…”
    • Romans 12:18 “Live at peace with everyone…”

👉 God doesn’t just give us peace—He calls us to spread it.

Peace Is a Fruit of the Spirit:

    • Galatians 5:22 peace is part of the fruit of the Spirit

👉 As you grow spiritually, peace becomes more natural.

    Obstacles to Peace:

Things that can steal your peace

    • Worry
    • Sin
    • Lack of trust
    • Overthinking

👉 Peace isn’t lost because God leaves—it’s lost when we drift.

    Reflection Questions

    1. What is currently stealing my peace?
    2. Am I trying to control things instead of trusting God?
    3. What Scripture can I hold onto this week?
    4. How can I bring peace into someone else’s life?

    🙏 Closing Prayer

Lord, You are the source of true peace. Calm my anxious thoughts and help me trust You fully. Guard my heart and mind, and teach me to rest in Your presence no matter what I face. Let Your peace fill my life and flow into others. In Jesus Name. Amen.

  • Five Minute Bible Study: We’re Never Alone
    Mar 25 2026

    We’re Never Alone

    God Is Always With Us:

From beginning to end, the Bible emphasizes God’s constant presence.

    • Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

    👉 God’s presence is not temporary—it’s a promise.

Jesus Promised to Be With Us:

    • Matthew 28:20 “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

👉 Even after His resurrection, Jesus assured His followers they would never be abandoned.

    God Is Near in Difficult Times;

    • Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley… You are with me.”
    • Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”

👉 God doesn’t just watch from a distance—He walks with you through pain.

The Holy Spirit Lives Within Us:

    • John 14:16–17 Jesus promises the Helper (the Holy Spirit)
    • 1 Corinthians 3:16 “You are God’s temple and God’s Spirit dwells in you.”

👉 You don’t just have God with you—you have Him in you.

    God Knows You Personally:

    • Psalm 139:1–3 God knows your thoughts, actions, and ways

👉 You are never unseen or forgotten.

    Even When You Feel Alone:

    Feelings don’t always reflect truth.

    • Hebrews 13:5 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

👉 Truth > feelings. God’s presence doesn’t depend on your emotions.

God Uses People to Remind Us We’re Not Alone:

    • Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens…”

👉 God often shows His presence through:

    • Friends
    • Family
    • Church community

Nothing Can Separate Us From God:

    • Romans 8:38–39 Nothing… will be able to separate us from the love of God.

    👉 Not:

    • Trouble
    • Fear
    • Failure
    • Even death

    Living With This Truth Daily

    When you feel alone:

    • Remind yourself of God’s promises
    • Pray honestly
    • Read Scripture
    • Reach out to others

👉 You may feel alone—but you are never abandoned.

    Reflection Questions:

    1. When do I feel most alone?
    2. Which promise from God speaks most to me right now?
    3. How can I remind myself daily that God is with me?
    4. Who can I reach out to for support?

    🙏 Closing Prayer

Lord, thank You that I am never alone. Even when I feel distant or overwhelmed, You are with me. Help me to trust Your presence, lean on Your Spirit, and find comfort in Your promises. Remind me daily that You will never leave me. In Jesus Name. Amen.

  • Five Minute Bible Study: Trials and Tribulations
    Mar 25 2026

The Purpose of Trials & Tribulations:

    What Are Trials and Tribulations?

Trials are tests, challenges, or suffering we face in life—spiritual, emotional, physical, or relational.

    • John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

👉 Jesus never promised a trouble-free life—but He promised victory through Him.

Trials Test and Strengthen Our Faith:

    • James 1:2–4 “Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials… because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

    👉 Trials:

    • Reveal what we truly believe
    • Strengthen spiritual endurance
    • Mature our faith

    Trials Produce Spiritual Growth:

    • Romans 5:3–5 “Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

    👉 There is a process: Pain → Endurance → Character → Hope

    Trials Refine Us Like Fire:

    • 1 Peter 1:6–7 compares trials to gold refined by fire

👉 Just like fire removes impurities from gold, trials:

    • Remove pride
    • Expose weaknesses
    • Strengthen purity and dependence on God

Trials Draw Us Closer to God:

    • Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…”
    • 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

👉 Often, we experience God most deeply in our hardest moments.

    Trials Teach Dependence on God:

    • Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

    👉 Trials remind us:

    • We are not in control
    • God is trustworthy
    • We need Him daily

Trials Equip Us to Help Others

    • 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 God comforts us so we can comfort others

👉 Your pain can become someone else’s healing.

    Trials Have Eternal Purpose

    • 2 Corinthians 4:17 “Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory…”

👉 What feels heavy now is preparing something far greater.

How Should We Respond to Trials?

    1. Trust God

    Even when you don’t understand.

    2. Stay Faithful

    Don’t walk away—press in.

    3. Pray Honestly

God can handle your questions and pain.

    4. Keep Perspective

This is temporary—God’s purpose is eternal.

    Reflection Questions:

    1. What trial am I currently facing?
    2. How is God using this to shape my faith?
    3. Am I resisting or trusting God in this season?
    4. How could this experience help someone else later?

    🙏 Closing Prayer:

Lord, I don’t always understand the trials I face, but I trust that You have a purpose. Strengthen my faith, refine my heart, and draw me closer to You in every moment. Help me to grow, not grow bitter. Use my struggles for Your glory. Amen.
