Spared for a Season: Living in the Space between Mercy and Judgement (Luke 13:1-9)

This sermon cautions against assuming that bad things happen to people because they deserve it - because God is punishing them - and to instead focus on ourselves and our own sinfulness. It reminds us that it is Jesus who makes us acceptable to God and that without Jesus it is impossible for any of us to be acceptable (holy and righteous) before God.
