Recently discovered this podcast as part of a research passion project on planetary defense. Carrie does a great job of shortcutting me to fascinating people and giving just a taste of their work so I can go find more. While the drink tradition is a little cheesy as an icebreaker (admitting I've used it as well in my work), it helps humanize people who could just be floating voices. She's also well-versed enough to help translate some of the more technical pieces of others' work and makes a wonderfully useful effort to do so. In a golden age of astronomical discovery, this is a superb exploration of some of the fast-developing niches of planetary science. Please keep it up!
