Sovereign 4: Don't Fear

Psalm 23:1-4, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect andcomfort me.”There are many “shepherds” who want to lead us—our feelings… our thoughts… our emotions… our habits. Many people bounce from one shepherd to another. But the Good Shepherd (there’s only one!) never leaves us. He’s always with us wanting to lead us. And when we get lost, He comes to find us! The question is, will we follow Him?Even though God is sovereign, “the ultimate authority which no other power or being can overrule,” we still must choose to follow Him.
