Yes, I have all the check marks in terms of family, home, job, achieving a lot there, high visibility, meeting a lot of senior people. And yet I was just like, what is the point of all of this?"

    💭 [12:22] "I have started to practice bringing more of my magical self into my job by talking about it with coaches that exist in my workplace to talk about it. Even with my manager, like, here's something I do and guess what? His spouse is also very much into all the things that I'm into."

    💭 [16:47] "So I can't change how I operate internally, which can feel chaotic and distracted. And like, I want to think about a hundred things at once."

  • #76: Breaking Up with Facebook: Why I Moved My Community to Skool

    I have finally left Facebook, and in this episode I'm sharing why I am moving some of my offers over to Skool, why I love the platform, and beyond that, how I'm taking a risk to shake things up in the name of simplicity and choosing what supports me.

    This shift has been brewing behind the scenes for a long time, and it feels both exciting and vulnerable to finally talk about it. After years of feeling drained by Facebook’s distractions, limitations, and lack of genuine connection, I knew I needed a space that felt more aligned with how I want to work and show up.

    Skool has been that breath of fresh air - a cleaner, calmer, more intuitive platform where real community can thrive.

    Beyond the tech, this move is really about honouring my own capacity. I’m simplifying, consolidating, and choosing the path that supports me so I can better support the people inside my offers. Taking this risk has brought up fears, of course, but it’s also opened up a new level of clarity and excitement for what’s possible.

    💭 [15:29] "I also questioned about having separate groups in skool, like one for my free group and one for my paid members. I decided to deliberately combine them into one group. My concern was that it would water down like it would devalue the support that members saw they were getting from me in a community group. But actually, I decided that a boosted engagement across the board and more, you know, more people to support them as well as me is only a benefit."

    💭 [21:55] "It's more about sharing from along the way in the journey, which includes me sharing and the other members sharing and also, you know, being okay to be imperfect and share the human side of things."

I feel so much safer and less stressed in my business."

    💭 [04:32] "I think now, especially with people's attention span and learning overwhelm and just, you know, I feel like after Covid, things kind of shifted in a lot of spaces and being able to have smaller offers that I think solve one specific problem is something that really appeals to people right now because they don't have the time, energy and in many cases the money to drop on like you know, a five thousand dollar program that does all the things when they're really only trying to maybe get, you know, two steps ahead and do one, one specific thing."

    💭 [07:07] "In order to get a good result from the offer creator, you really need to know your ideal client front to back or you're going to get an output that isn't going to resonate or you're probably not going to be happy with it."

    💭 [09:16] "If you're selling one thing, you can have something else that complements it as a trip buyer or an offer bump. And that helps increase your sales as well and also gives again, the opportunity for people to just keep kind of swirling around in your nebula and, and learning what you need, what they need from you at any given time."

A year ago, I joined a mastermind that I was both excited and terrified to be part of - and it has been so powerful for my business.
