  • Ruining My Weekend on Sorare!
    Apr 8 2026

Is "Maximum Efficiency" actually possible on Sorare, or will it just ruin my weekend? In today’s episode of Sorare with Laird, I’m putting my sanity on the line. I’m going through every single available card in my gallery for this weekend's competitions to see what would happen if I played the "waiting game."The goal is to calculate exactly how much time and effort it would take to plan out every lineup if I waited for each player’s game to start before locking them in. Is the extra edge worth the time, or am I just setting myself up for a miserable weekend of spreadsheets and countdowns? In this video:• Gallery deep-dive for all upcoming competitions.• The "Real-Time" strategy vs. the "Set and Forget" approach.• The final time-cost breakdown of being a Sorare perfectionist. Is this doable or is it insane?🤝 Support Laird and get exclusive content and access to the community discord by joining the Laird Social Club on Patreon: https://patreon.com/andrewmlaird⚽️ Begin your MFL journey today: https://app.playmfl.com/?referrer=F2047C🏟️ Join Sport.Fun here: https://pro.sport.fun/login/?referral_code=UITMX28FXU9

  • Will Sorare Set Kill Sorare Pro?
    Apr 7 2026

The biggest shift in Sorare history is here. With the introduction of Sorare Set, the platform has introduced a totally different way to play—moving away from the rigid "Game Week" structure and into a world of levels, lives, and instant progression. But it raises a massive question: Will Sorare eventually change Pro to mimic this new style? In today’s video, we’re breaking down the fundamental differences between Set and Pro gameplay. While Pro is about the long-term marathon and managing a gallery over a full season (and maybe longer!), Set is a self-contained sprint. You can complete multiple levels in a single day, players are released immediately after their lineups end, and the "Board" mechanics feel more like a modern mobile game than a traditional fantasy sports competition. What we’re covering:• The Gameplay Loop: Why "Lives" and "Levels" might be the future of the entire platform.• The Price Gap: Set cards are significantly more accessible, but does the low barrier to entry actually devalue the Pro experience?• Market Psychology: Does being able to pick up great players for pennies in Set make people less likely to drop big money on Pro scarcities?• The Convergence: Evidence that Sorare is testing these mechanics to eventually overhaul how we play Pro competitions. Is Sorare Set a "fun side quest" or a Trojan horse designed to replace the Pro game we know and love? If players can get the same dopamine hit for a fraction of the cost, what happens to the high-stakes Rare and Super Rare markets?Let’s talk about it in the comments: Are you sticking with Pro, or has Set already taken over your weekend routine?🤝 Support the content by joining the Laird Social Club on Patreon! https://patreon.com/andrewmlaird
