The welcome and introductions will kick off at 4:00 P.M., followed by this month’s special guest, Braedon Barnhill, a Marble Falls native who followed in his father’s musical footsteps, who was mentored by Drew Womack of the Sons of the Desert, and who recently signed a major recording contract Big Machine Music, yes, the same label who signed Taylor Swift.

A primary goal of Songwriters Meetup is to celebrate the legends from the Marble Falls area, including Floyd Tillman, a CMA Hall of Fame inductee, Willie Nelson, who children attended school in Marble Falls, and Oscar J. Fox, born in Burnet County, who composed music for some of the most famous cowboy songs of all time, and Gary P. Nunn, whose works have been covered by Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Chris Stapleton.
