  • Love and forgiveness are ingredients of life we all need. We all have pain. We all have sorrow. We all have doubts. Jesus understands all of this. He Gets Us is a series of lessons based on eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ life and how the story of Jesus is for all of us! Our speaker this month, Gene Appel, is the lead minister with East Side Christian Church, Anaheim California. Today, as we celebrate Easter, Gene offers insight into the life of Jesus through the eyes of those that knew him personally. Together, we will find hope and purpose because HE GETS US. He is Risen, He is Risen indeed is a common greeting among believers, especially at Easter. These words confirm and encourage hope because of the actual, physical resurrection of the Son of God; Jesus.
