Tottenham’s EFL Cup defeat to Newcastle kickstarted a run that has seen them lose five of their last seven across all competitions to ramp up the pressure on head coach Thomas Frank.

Tottenham were booed off by their own supporters after Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Fulham – a third loss in a row – and they head into this game level on points with Newcastle. Frank’s side have been generally better on their travels this season than they have at home, with 13 of their 18 Premier League points being picked up on the road, however, they have now lost three in a row on their travels in all competitions, and Thomas Frank is now the second favourite to be the next Manager to lose his job.
