What do you do when your kids are no longer kids? Both Julie and Kia's children have grown up in the entertainment industry but are now completely grown. It seems they're at an age where a mother is needed less and less everyday. Kia feels happy & anxious to get her life back, but Julie says she officially “has no life”
Two young mothers find themselves at an uncomfortable stage earlier than most parents. Their children are adults who treat their moms more like assistants than guardians. They only call in for inconveniences they don't want to deal with, or relationship advice. Helping out in those areas is still fulfilling, but they only occupy so much time.
Now, stepping into a period of their lives where we have to find their own sense of purpose and let their children evolve independently, follow Julie and Kia figure out the question that plagues every parent at some point. Who are we without our children? Or better phrased… So What Now?
