The word democracy in America has a different meaning based exclusively on the political party one belongs to.

Most people in America minus Republicans have a pretty good understanding of what democracy ought to be.

Republicans on the other hand define democracy anything that's beneficial to them or better yet anything that does benefit democrats. The January 6 2021 riots with the objective to overturn the 2020 elections is democracy to Republicans; shielding Donald Trump from being punished for throwing the country into a chaos is democracy. Anything Joe Biden does today is caused for impeachment. As such, there is no remedy until the country falls apart.
