  • 3-04-26 - Avs Dominate Ducks/Tag and trades and free agents OH MY!/Russ responds to Sean
    Mar 4 2026
0:00 - The Avalanche dominated the Ducks last night in Anaheim! Gabe Landeskog scored a goal, Marty Nachos scored a Power Play goal, and Parker Kelly got himself 2! Such a complete effort. This team looks rejuvinated after the Olympic Break.
Somehow, we dove into the world of Gordon Ramsay and TV shows with lots of yelling.

17:01 - The Colts placed the rare Transition Tag on Danny Dimes. The Jets franchise-tagged Breece Hall. The Cardinals released Kyler Murray. The NFL Offseason is heating up a bit. Which free agents are still available for the Broncos to target?

32:43 - If you remember a few months ago, Sean Payton took an alleged shot at Russ after the Broncos vs Giants game. And Russ responded on Twitter! A rare Russ response. Recently, Russ went on Bussin With the Boys and explained the interaction. Why did he take the bait?

  • 3-03-26 - Avs win & SCORE A PP GOAL!!/Nugs are lost right now/Nuggets revisionist history
    Mar 3 2026
0:00 - The Avalanche won yesterday and they...SCORED A POWER PLAY GOAL??? THEY ACTUALLY DID IT! You love to see it. They're now at 18% on the PP post-Olympics.

15:30 - The Nuggets won last night. BUT...they needed late game theatrics to beat the Jazz by 3 points. A Jazz team that is ACTIVELY TRYING TO LOSE BALLGAMES. The Jazz are literally under investigation by the leage because of tanking. And the Nuggets almost lost to them. That's unacceptable. Brett's officially lost any belief that this is a championship caliber roster. They've lost that trust. They need to earn it back.

31:34 - Everyone loves playing revisionist history when it comes to the Nuggets. People were ready to move on from Michael Malone last year. Fans had been beating that drum for years. Now that he's out and the team is struggling, people wish they had him back. How quickly we forget. But it begs the question - how much of the Nuggets issues right now come down to coaching? Is Adelman part of the problem?

  • 3-02-26 - OKC is officially on THE LIST/Avs beat Blackhawks, but PP is still bad/NFL Combine Takeaways
    Mar 2 2026
0:00 - OKC, their stupid fanbase, and their stupider coach? All on THE LIST. They've officially passed the Lakers as Public Enemy #1. You can't play the villain role, then also cry wolf and act like some innocent scrappy underdog. Which one are you? Lu Dort messed around, but he wasn't prepared to find out.

16:17 - It wasn't easy, but the Avalanche beat the Blackhawks on Saturday to end February on a high note. For some reason, it's NEVER easy when they play Chicago. Despite the win, the Avs Power Play is still non-existent. At this point, it's not an anomaly. It's just who they are.

32:05 - Brett must be Jonesing for some football, because he actually watched NFL Combine coverage this weekend. His main takeaway? Only a very VERY specific type of player can rock a mullet.

  • 2-27-26 - Avs lose a game in the cartoon world/NFL Report cards leaked/Nuggets clash with OKC tonight
    Feb 27 2026
0:00 - Losing to the Minnesota Wild still hurts, even in a cartoon playtime world. Did you watch the normal broadcast, or the Bernie's Mountain Showdown animated broadcast with a virtual Kyle Keefe and Mark Rycroft?

14:49 - Remember how the NFL PA Survey/Report cards weren't supposed to be public anymore? Well life...uh...finds a way. The report cards made their way to the interwebz last night, and the Broncos did very well across the board. They received only 2 low(ish) grades, and one of those was a bit shocking.

32:43 - The Nuggets are in OKC to face the Thunder tonight! It's a big measuring stick game for Denver. How will they stack up against the top team in the West?

  • 2-26-26 - Nugs blow out the Celtics/MacKinnon-less Avs returned to the ice/MORE changes on Prime's staff
    Feb 26 2026
0:00 - The Nuggets beat a top opponent from the East...without Jamal Murray...and they actually played defense...and built a lead late and held onto it...and won a home game...HUH? What is this sorcery?

14:58 - No Nathan MacKinnon, no problem. The Avalanche played their first game in a century last night, and beat the Mammoth 4-2 in Utah. How about that wild goal from Parker Kelly to get the scoring started?

31:19 - CU lost another coordinator yesterday...Prime's staff continues to play musical chairs. Robert Livingston left CU, went to the Broncos, and took a "worse" job. He's lower on the totem pole now relative to (heh) his old job. What's going on in Boulder, man?

  • 2-25-26 - Davis Webb will call plays on offense/Sammy G traded to Penguins/Did Sean "give up" playcalling?
    Feb 25 2026
0:00 - Yesterday at the NFL Combine, Sean Payton announced that Broncos Offensive Coordinator Davis Webb will be calling plays next year. Wow...it finally happened! Good for Davis. Sean's presser felt very open and honest. A tiny bit of Snarky Sean escaped when he was asked about Bo Nix and Predisposed AnkleGate 2K26 (where were you?), but aside from that, it felt like a very natural conversation about this changing of the guard.

15:54 - Happy Trails, Sammy G! La Tornade is now touching down in Pittsburgh, PA with the Penguins. Two things can be true. Thing one: Brett's been the biggest defender of Sammy G there is. Poor guy has caught TONS of unnecessary arrows over the years, and he's made a big impact on his team. Thing two: it was time to move on. This trade will be better for everyone involved in the long run.

31:45 - Did Sean Payton voluntarily relinquish his playcalling duties to Davis Webb? Or did that order come from above?

  • 2-24-26 - Avs back in action tomorrow/How far the Broncos have come/Zac Veen? More like JACKED Veen
    Feb 24 2026
0:00 - The Avalanche are back in action tomorrow night on the road in SLC vs the Mammoth. Which players from the Olympics will be back on the ice for Colorado? Will any guys get some rest before the final push to the playoffs?

14:20 - Think about how far the Broncos have come in such a short amount of time. Their turnaround has been meteoric. Somehow, the Russell Wilson/Nathaniel Hackett era feels like a lifetime ago. And yet, there are still more tweaks to the roster that need to be made.

33:05 - Yesterday, Zac Veen hit a walkoff MOONSHOT home run for the Rockies in spring training. And he looks HUGE. He's more than 40 lbs heavier than he was last season. Hey man, if that's what it takes to hit dingers, then we're totally here for Jacked Veen.

  • 2-23-26 - USA BEATS CANADA FOR THE GOLD!/Nuggets are floundering a bit/MacKinnon's consolation pushie
    Feb 23 2026
0:00 - USA MEN'S HOCKEY WON AN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1980! And, they defeated our neighbors to the north to secure the gold. What a moment. What a game. Of course, Jack Hughes was the hero of the game with that SNIPE past Binnington in OT. But how about Connor Hellebuyucky? The guy who was a sieve vs the Avalanche in the playoffs is now an Olympics legend.

17:25 - The Nuggets collapsed vs. a depleted Golden State Warriors team yesterday and couldn't finish down the stretch. What kind of bizarro world are we in now? This Nuggets squad used to be KILLERS in the clutch. The 4th quarter was when they played their best! Now, it's their worst quarter. Finishing games makes the difference in the playoffs. Period. They better figure this out soon.

33:16 - USA beat Canada yesterday in hockey to wrap up the Olympics on a high note. Now look...a silver medal is nothing to sneeze at! That's an amazing accomplishment. But Team Canada looked incredibly crushed and depressed as they received their medals. And what made it worse...they all received a plushie doll of the Olympics mascot. Nathan MacKinnon had to use every ounce of self control in his system to not rip the head off that damn thing.
