  • In this episode I talk to Bob Dougherty.

    Bob served for 25 years as a CIA Operations Officer - 23 of those years "in the field" - spanning the the Middle East, Europe, South America, Central America and the U.S.

    He developed, ran, and managed HUMINT operations focused on Counter-Terrorism, Counter-Intelligence and Counter-Narcotics targets. During his career he worked against most major foreign terrorist groups that threatened U.S. interests.

    He also specialized in working against the Iranian and MENA target set. Several operations that he initiated resulted in the takedown of major terrorist networks and cells.

    In the private sector, Bob now concentrates on providing specialized consulting and training services to Law Enforcement, Military, Private Sector and Governmental clients.

    In this episode I explore with Bob three main topics, namely,

    • Advanced situational awareness as it pertains to successfully surviving and thriving in any environment.
    • Critical thinking skills and common sense/street smarts
    • A Stoic-based philosophy in life that allows you to focus on what is truly important.
