Black Fringe Fan Love!!!

I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble across this rich and hilarious exploration of the tv series I’ve come to love and rewatch over the years. As a viewer from when it was originally aired on fox, I came to love the story and characters of the show. You all have done an amazing job digging into the storylines and the inevitable missing pieces in the story arc.

I resonated with this series because of my journey as an adopted child and a lover of science and fantasy. It gave me so much joy to hear you sistahs discussing all the cool stuff in the show.

One note: in your S5 recap, y’all mentioned not liking the depiction of the observers. The contrast comes from the first 4 seasons focusing on the antics of the observer science team, who was sent to that timeline to gather data for the invasion. They came to love the humans of that time period and began to interfere with human events, remember? But they were not like the other observers. So the S5 observers were more aligned with beings who had removed emotional expression from their way of being.
