Even though the website says he is the Chief Experience Office, it is obvious that he could also be named the Chief Experiment Officer. Russ tells us how he enjoys experimenting with various flavors. All it takes is a mason jar, a wood stave and some liquor. So much fun!

In the episode we learn if Russ would rather lose his sense of taste or his sense of smell, additional information on Missouri Bourbon laws, what it means to be a "straight" bourbon and the various spirits Blacksmith produces.
