Sinners vs. K-Pop Demon Hunters? The top movies nominated for an Academy Award

We're breaking down the year in movies ahead of the 98th Academy Awards. Directed by Oakland's own Ryan Coogler, "Sinners" is up for a record-setting 16 nominations. There's also plenty of praise expected for "K-Pop Demon Hunters," which has become the most viewed film ever on Netflix. All this comes as artificial intelligence and shifting broadcast rights are casting a haze on Hollywood's future.
